The principle is: the arc occurs between the coating electrode and the base metal, and the welding method of arc thermal ablation electrode and base metal is used. The outer layer of the welding rod is covered with flux, which is ablated when heated, and has the functions of making the arc stable, forming slag dissolving, deoxidation, and essence.

The welding power supply uses a communication welding machine or a DC arc welding machine with descending characteristics. Generally, a communication arc welding machine is used, and a DC arc welding machine is used when arc stability is particularly required.

Features of Pulse MIG (GMAW) Welding:

Compared to pulse-free MAG/MIG welding, the jet transition can be completed with thicker wires, so the wire feeding function can be improved and the wire cost can be reduced in thin plate welding. In particular, aluminum and alloy welding has advantages in automation and robotization.

The principle of pulsed MIG (GMAW) welding: the welding current is periodically repeated in the form of pulse current Ip and base current Ib, and the molten droplet transition can be completed in a wide range of welding currents.

3) Tungsten argon arc welding (TIG)

Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)

The principle is: TIG welding is a method of melting and welding the base metal by making an arc between the tungsten electrode and the base metal in an inert gas environment such as argon.

DC TIG welding

The DC arc welding power supply is used as the welding power source, and the electrode is negative and the base metal is positive, which is widely used in the welding of stainless steel, titanium, copper and copper alloy.

Communicate TIG welding

The AC arc welding power supply is used as the welding power source, and the positive and negative polarities of the electrode and base metal change from each other. When the electrode is positive (EP polarity), the electrode overheating consumes a lot and removes the oxide layer on the surface of the base metal, which is the so-called cleaning effect. With this cleaning effect, it is widely used in welding of aluminum and magnesium.
