Capsule filling machine, high-speed tablet press, bottling production line, aluminum-plastic packaging machine, cartoning machine, each equipment will use VFD, mainly frequency conversion speed regulation, touch screen + PLC + VFD combination is the main use.
1. Select a suitable external fuse to avoid damage to the rectifier equipment caused by internal short circuit. After the model of VFD is determined, if there is no fast fuse to protect the silicon equipment before the internal rectifier circuit is corrected with VFD, a fuse and isolation switch that meet the requirements should be equipped between the VFD agent and the power supply, and the fuse and isolation switch cannot be replaced by an air switch.
2. Select the introduction and outlet cables of the VFD agency. Depending on the power of the VFD, a three- or four-conductor shielded power cable with a suitable conductor cross-section is selected. In particular, the power cables from the VFD protection to the motor must be shielded and kept as short as possible, so that electromagnetic emissions and capacitive leakage currents can be reduced. When the cable length exceeds the allowable output cable length of the VFD, the stray capacitance of the cable will affect the normal operation of the VFD, so it is necessary to equip the output reactor. For control cables, especially I/0 signal cables, shielded construction should also be used. The length of the connecting cable between the VFD and the VFD peripheral components must not exceed 10m.
3. Install a communication reactor or electromagnetic compatibility filter on the input side. According to the requirements of other equipment on the site of the VFD device for the quality of the power grid, if the normal operation of these equipment is affected during the operation of the VFD, the VFD can install a communication reactor or EMC filter on the input side to suppress the electromagnetic interference caused by the on/off of the power equipment. If the neutral point of the grid transformer connected to the VFD agent is not grounded, the EMC filter cannot be selected.
