A pressure transmitter is a type of instrument that converts a pressure variable into a consistent output signal that can be transmitted, and there is a given continuous function relationship between the output signal and the pressure variable, which is generally a linear function. Pressure variables include positive and negative pressure, differential pressure and pressure. There are two categories of pressure transmitters: electric and pneumatic, the consistent output signal of electric is 0-10mA, 4-20mA (or 1-5V) DC signal, and the consistent output signal of pneumatic is 20-100kpa gas pressure. Pressure transmitters can be divided into force (torque) balance, capacitive, inductive, strain and frequency according to different conversion principles, and so on.
Technical requirements
1. Appearance:
The nameplate of the pressure transmitter should be complete and clear, and the main technical indicators such as the product title, model, standard, and measurement range should be indicated, and the high and low capacity rooms should have significant symbols, and the title or trademark of the manufacturer, the factory number, and the date and month of production should also be indicated.
The pressure transmitter parts should be intact, the fasteners should not be loose and damaged, and the movable parts should be flexible and reliable.
The shell and parts of the newly made pressure transmitter should be coated with smooth and intact, free of rust and mildew, and there should be no chips, residues and other sundries inside, and no defects affecting the operation and measurement performance of the pressure transmitter during use and repair.
2. Sealing: When the measuring part of the transmitter accepts the upper pressure of the measurement (the differential pressure transmitter is the rated working pressure), there shall be no leakage and damage.
