Yaskawa inverter fault code description and corresponding fault causes

When the Yaskawa inverter fails, the operator will display the fault content, cut off the output, and the motor will decelerate and stop freely.

OC Overcurrent The output current of the inverter exceeds the overcurrent detection value ·

GF grornd Favlt Grounding The ground current on the output side of the inverter exceeds 50% of the rated output current of the inverter

PUF DC Bus Fuse Open fuse blow

SC Short Circuit Load Short Circuit The output or load of the inverter has been short-circuited

OV Overvoltage The DC voltage of the main circuit exceeds the voltage detection value

UV1 DC Bus Undervolt Main Loop Low Voltage The DC voltage of the main circuit is lower than the low voltage detected

UV2 CTL PS Undervolt Control Power Supply Abnormality The voltage of the control current is too low

UV3 MC Answerback protects against surge circuit failures

PF Input Pha Loss The main circuit voltage is abnormal

LF Output Pha Loss Underphase An underphase occurs on the output side of the inverter

OH(OH1) Heatsink Over tmp The temperature of the inverter's heat sink exceeds the set value or 105 °C

The RH Dyn Brk Resistor mount-type brake resistor is overheated

The RR Dyn Brk Transistr has a built-in brake transistor anomaly

OL1 Motor Overloaded Motor Overload Electronic Thermal Protection Causes Motor Overload Protection Action
