ifm sensors can be used for many different purposes. Here are some of the most common features of sensors.

The hysteresis function of the ifm sensor allows the hysteresis function to maintain the stability of the output condition if the system pressure fluctuates around the preset value. If the system pressure increases, the output condition is switched from D to the open point (SPx). If the system pressure drops, it will only switch back to the original output when the shut-off point is reached. The hysteresis function can be adjusted by setting the opening point first and then the closing point at the desired interval.

ifm sensors are calibrated and measured, i.e. analogue outputs. If the parameter "Analog Output End" is selected, the measured value when the output signal is 20 mA or 10 V is the regular value. If the parameter "Analog Output Start" is selected, the metric value at which the output signal is 4 mA or 0 V is the regular value.

Window utility is the allowable size of a rule that can be monitored using window utility. When the system pressure changes between the open point (SPx) and the closed point (rPx), the output function will be switched or not. The width of the window can be set by the difference between SPx and rPx. rPx = lower limit value, SPx = upper limit value.
