Shanghai, China, November 7, 2021 – Today, Honeywell and Shui On Xintiandi (Shanghai) Commercial Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shui On Xintiandi) held a strategic collaboration signing ceremony at the site of the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) to fulfill the social responsibility of carbon reduction and carbon control through the construction of low-carbon upgrades, and explore the sustainable future of smart buildings.
According to the agreement, Honeywell plans to provide an inductive power management software platform for Shui On Xintiandi's projects in China in the next five years. In the first phase of the project, Honeywell will implement energy-saving upgrades for up to 22 public areas under the project at Shui On Xintiandi, and will continue to expand the power transformation and expansion of more sites and areas in the future.
The inductive power management software platform provided by Honeywell for Shui On Xintiandi can sort out power management loopholes through data measurement and insight, and then complete the energy consumption saving policy of 8-10%. On this basis, Honeywell will also use the two sites as a pilot to arrange advanced chiller group control, combined with the load control function module of the power management platform, to further save 10%-15%% of energy consumption, so as to complete the "left and right bow" of building operation and management energy saving and skill energy saving. Honeywell expects the overall construction to achieve energy savings of more than 20 percent.
"At that time, the construction of buildings was facing the two-layer constraints of energy consumption growth and environmental capacity reduction, and the construction industry was also an important category promoted by the national 'dual carbon' policy, and enterprises were the key subjects to complete this policy." Li Ye, Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Intelligent Construction Technology Group in China, said: "We are very pleased to work side by side with Shui On Xintiandi on the road to complete the carbon emission reduction of buildings, and jointly open up more possibilities for the continued development of intelligent construction, and help the early completion of China's 'dual carbon' policy." ”
As an independent wholly-owned subsidiary of Shui On Land, Shui On Xintiandi is primarily engaged in commercial real estate investment and ownership, property management and commercial property management in China, and is committed to building vibrant communities that will drive commercial prosperity throughout the region.
Mr. Zhang Bin, Executive Director of Shui On Land and Shui On Xintiandi, said, "Shui On has always been an active promoter of urban development, not only caring for the environment, protecting cultural heritage, building a green and healthy community, and satisfying the diverse needs of citizens for the city and community, but also empowering the city's economic prosperity through reasonable and innovative planning and layout, advanced concepts and skills, and mature market-oriented operation methods. In the future, we will work with more excellent companies like Honeywell to fulfill our commitment to social responsibility. ”
Honeywell's solutions in the field of smart building technology include fire protection, security, building automation, smart living, intelligent electrical control and intelligent construction integration, and provide customized software and building operation life cycle services, through the Internet of Things and big data to support the smooth operation, energy efficiency improvement and sustainable development of smart construction. In China, Honeywell continues to develop products and technologies that meet the power and environmental needs of customers, serves China's 'carbon peak' and 'carbon neutrality' policies, and works with China's partners to shape a sustainable future."
