Hello everyone, Made in China has been developing rapidly for 40 years. Today, 90% of laptops, 70% of mobile phones, and 64% of solar panels are "Made in China". In 2021, China has become the world's largest contributor to industrial value-added.
However, in the new information age, China's manufacturing is also facing severe challenges, such as: unreasonable industrial structure, repeated investment in new production capacity, resulting in overcapacity; The old production capacity has low energy efficiency, safety and environmental problems are prominent, and the product homogeneity has high added value.
China has responded to the current challenges faced by "Made in China" in the international context through high-quality development, and driven the transformation from "Made in China" to "Made in China" with digitalization, sustainable development, diversity and inclusiveness.
Vertical and horizontal integration to promote digital empowerment
For digital interconnection, intelligent manufacturing and other fields, how does Honeywell promote digital empowerment and help "intelligent manufacturing in China"?
From the perspective of different vertical application levels, through enterprise-level remote control, business decision-making and cost/profit center of production and operation, to automatic control and security operation of the perception control layer, the three vertical application levels of enterprise management, production and operation layer, and perception control layer are connected, which is an internal dimension to empower.
From a horizontal point of view, how to support enterprises to move towards B2B e-commerce? This is a necessity for industry, and indeed for all manufacturing companies today.
In Honeywell's digital transformation solutions, we put forward three important directions from the perspective of smart factories. The first process is connected, the second asset is connected, and the third person is connected. From operational excellence systems, industrial site intelligent equipment, intelligent production management execution systems, automation control systems, safety control systems, to advanced control real-time optimization, operator skills training and management, these are all digital enterprise solutions.
Win-win cooperation and take the road of practice
How does Honeywell achieve informatization, data interconnection/analysis, and automation improvement? We have made a series of upgrades in operational asset management and industrial chains. Let me give you a few practical examples: we have cooperated with Juhua, Walvax Biotechnology and other companies to empower the digital production and operation of factories with smart factory technology and world-leading practical experience; We have joined hands with Sinochem and Zhejiang Petrochemical to empower automation in terms of safe operation level, advanced control technology, and operation virtualization.
When it comes to China's intelligent manufacturing, one step further, many future-oriented manufacturing enterprises are trying to improve the management level and profitability of enterprises through intelligent manufacturing strategies, and six key technologies that enable smart factories have emerged - cloud computing, digital tools, virtual reality technology, data interconnection, virtualization, and intelligent analysis.
On the basis of these six aspects, Honeywell has taken a step further and launched five autonomous technology models: self-perception, self-adaptation, self-execution, self-decision-making, and self-learning, which we call Honeywell 5A technology.
