✦Honeywell today announced the latest version of Experion's® Process Knowledge System (PKS), Experion® PKS R520.2 (R520.2), bringing new technologies and capabilities in process automation to a wide range of end users in the industrial sector.

The R520.2 solution is built around the Experion®® PKS Control HIVE, a highly integrated virtualization environment that enables users to integrate individual controllers as clusters of shared computing resources. The new features of the R520.2 solution integrate the ability to optimize control system resources and I/O modules, significantly reducing the complexity and cost of automation projects and control systems.

Other benefits of Experion® PKS Control HIVE include increased availability and redundancy to reduce unplanned downtime and unplanned downtime and extend equipment life; The latest approach to maintenance and upgrades simplifies lifecycle and support management.
