The Dalian R&D Center is the first R&D center established by Japan Denco in China to focus on "R&D (R&D) localization." Today, more than 95% of the members of the development department are Chinese, and they maintain close communication with the Shiga Technology Development Center, while taking advantage of the proximity to the production base to lead the development of new Chinese markets. The Dalian Technical Center is characterized by an integrated system from new product development to mass production. In particular, the Dalian plant also has a mold design and parts in-house production department, and cooperates with factories in Dalian, Dongguan, and Shaoguan to realize rapid support for the trial production of developed products and the start of mass production. The mission of Dalian Technology Development Center is to fully serve Chinese customers, and localization services can provide customers with direct and fast technical support in all aspects of development, production and sales.

Motors for optical disk drives (ODDs) and DLP® (projectors) motors
We are responsible for the design and development of thick and thin motors for existing optical drives. It is currently responsible for about 60% of customer tasks, and plans to complete the handover of 100% of customer tasks in 2014. DLP® side takes on 100% of the tasks. In addition, we are responsible for packaging design, trial production and design transfer, VA/VE improvement, and process improvement at the factory.

About 80% of the work related to the existing system has been completed, and now the tasks of the 24H series in the new series are being handed over. At present, the company mainly supports the mass production of factories in Dalian, Dongguan and Shaoguan in China, and the work related to the design of existing series applications is basically undertaken by the Dalian Technology Development Center.
