Following the previous launch of the MVR-Cx series, the product line has been further expanded and improved to meet the needs of the market for the machining of large components. We will continue to invest in new models covering all markets in Japan and overseas and accelerate sales activities to further expand our machine bed business.
The MVR-Hx series is a newly developed model for customers with high precision and high efficiency machining, and is easier to operate without thermal displacement. By thoroughly implementing heat resistance measures, such as the shaft cooling function that suppresses the thermal propagation of the spindle and the structural body that is not subject to changes in ambient temperature, it can be applied to a wide range of machining, from machining of high-quality surfaces such as molds, to machining of general parts, and various materials from light to heavy cutting. Shaft cooling by internally cooled spindle is standard. Even at high speeds of 8,000 rpm, the tool tip position can be stabilized, and the tool gap during finishing can be controlled to less than 3.5 μm. In the heavy-duty machining field of 4,000 rpm, the maximum torque of 3,430 N・m can be achieved with an optional gear-driven spindle (opt.), and a more rigid casting is used for stable machining at high torque. The rapid traverse speed can reach the industry's highest level of Y-axis: 35 m/min, Z-axis: 20 m/min, which greatly improves productivity.
In addition, in order to thoroughly eliminate the effects of heat and long-term machining on accuracy, a thermally stable column enclosed with a temperature-controlled medium, a countermeasure against the heat insulation of the cross rail, an optimal arrangement of positioning rulers for each axis, and a spatial error compensation function are adopted. With these technologies, it is possible to accurately grasp the state of the machine and achieve a higher level of high-precision machining.
In addition, in addition to a wide range of functions that can improve the productivity of operators, such as expanding the range of movement of the control panel to operate close to the processing point, and simple operation using the newly developed operation support function Nidec Navi, we also provide fast and reliable support and services by equipping the DIASCOPE system, our unique IoT platform, as standard.
