Tools/Raw Materials
It is necessary to install Epson RC+ 7.0 on your computer (it can be downloaded from the Epson official website)
It is necessary to install a camera for Vision Guidance 7.0 and ensure that the camera works properly
Attach the camera to the end of the robot's second arm
Method/Process 1:
Double-click the Epson RC+7.0 icon on your Windows desktop to launch Epson RC+7.0. Click on the Project menu on the Epson RC+ 7.0 menu bar. Click the New Project menu entry for the Project menu. The New Project dialog box is rendered. Type a title for the new project.
Method/Process 2:
Click Settings, then System Configuration, then Vision, then Camera, then Add Camera, Search for Cameras (so you can find the sum of your installations)
Method/Process 3:
Create a new visual sequence:
(1) Find the visual toolbar button. Click the Visual Toolbar button to flip through the Visual Guidance window.
(2) Before we use the visual guidance 7.0 window, it is necessary to create a visual sequence first. You can click the New Sequence toolbar button to complete the creation of a new visual sequence. Keep in mind that the toolbar button sits on the Visual Guided Window toolbar, not on the main Epson RC+ 7.0 toolbar. A dialog box for creating a new sequence is presented.
(3) Enter the title "blobtut" for the new visual sequence (you can name it arbitrarily) and click OK. After that, we will use the title "blobtut" in the code of Epson RC+7.0
Method/Process 4:
The field of view of this tutorial should be about 40mm × 30mm. We found that the 16mm lens and the 1mm telescopic tube worked well in the 167mm to 240mm interval range for this field of view. This means that you can also use a 16mm lens and a 1mm telescopic lens while practicing this tutorial
Method/Process 5:
(1) Select the target paper with a separate gasket pattern printed in the center and place it in the appropriate position on the surface of the operation, so that the robot can easily place the camera on it. The best position is usually directly in front of the robot.
(2) Move the robot so that the camera sits on top of the washer picture. You should be able to move the robot manually without flipping the servo power supply.
(3) The focal length of the camera lens is adjusted to accurately focus the policy features.
(4) The camera should be located directly above the feature drawn on the target paper. You should be able to clearly see the policy features in the graphic display area of the visual guidance window. Now the visual guidance window should look like the image below. Note that the policy feature (washer) appears in the center of the pictorial display area of the visual guidance window.
Solution/Process 6:
Create a new blob target (binary target). Left-click the New Blob toolbar button on the Visual Guided 7.0 toolbar, then click the left mouse button. This will complete the positioning of the new blob target (binary target) in the drawing display area. (Ability to manually drag and adjust the size of the blod target)
Method/Process 7:
Find the Name trait. Double-click the Value of the Name feature and modify it
Method/Process 8:
Because we've just created a new binary target, the default value for Polarity is DarkOnLight, which means that a dark binary target has been found on the light set. We were able to change the feature to LightOnDark. You will then be able to verify the return results for that target. The results are displayed in the Results list, just below the Features list on the Object tab.

Performance requirements for Epson arc welding robots
In arc welding operations, the welding gun is required to track the movement of the weld bead of the workpiece and continuously fill the metal to form the weld, so the stability of the speed and the trajectory accuracy during the movement are two important indicators.
Under normal circumstances, the welding speed can be 5-50mm/s, and the trajectory accuracy can be ±0·2 ...

The control method of the flexible robotic arm - Epson
1. Rigid treatment. The effect of elastic deformation of the structure on the motion of the rigid body of the structure is completely ignored. For example, in order to prevent excessive elastic deformation from damaging the stability and terminal positioning accuracy of the flexible robotic arm, NASA's remote-controlled spaceman has a maximum angular velocity of 0.5deg/s.
2. Feedforward ...

The reason for the lack of precision of the robot - Epson
1. Joint fault
These errors indicate errors related to the displacement values fed by the encoder of the robot's active joints.
