RNVH-A series high-voltage inverter adopts multi-unit series multi-level technology, which is attributed to high-high voltage source inverter, which can directly input 6KV/10KV and direct 6KV/10KV output. Taking the 6KV series as an example, each phase is connected in series by 5 power units, each power unit is separated from the power supply by the secondary isolation coil of the input isolation transformer, and the output three phases form a Y-shape, which directly supplies power to the 6KV motor.

                              Features of Reynolds high-voltage frequency converters

The power unit structure is AC-DC-AC, and each power unit is mainly composed of an input fuse, a three-phase full-bridge rectifier, a capacitor bank, an IGBT inverter bridge, a DC bus and a bypass loop, and also includes a control drive circuit. Each unit is a three-phase input, single-phase output pulse-width modulation type inverter. The output voltage situation is 1, 0, -1, and the superposition of five elements per phase can produce 11 different voltage levels.

The structure uses low-voltage devices to complete the high-voltage output, reduces the withstand voltage requirements of power devices, and has very little harmonic pollution to the power grid. The input power factor is high, and there is no need to choose the input harmonic filter and power factor compensation equipment, and the output waveform is close to the sine wave. There are no additional heat generation, torque ripple, noise, DV/DT, and common-mode voltage caused by harmonics, and general asynchronous motors can be used without adding output filters.

Each power unit is powered by a set of secondary windings of a phase-shifting transformer, which converts the AC input to DC via a three-phase full-bridge rectifier. The electronic control unit receives the PWM signal sent by the main control system and outputs the PWM voltage waveform by controlling the operation of the IGBT. The monitoring circuit monitors the situation of the IGBT and DC bus in real time, and reflects the situation back to the main control system.

The PWM voltage waveforms output by N power units in each phase are superimposed to generate a multiplexed phase voltage waveform of 2N+1 voltage ladder, and the PWM waveforms output by 5 power units and the superimposed phase voltage waveforms are shown in the figure:

The main control system includes the main control board and its input and output interfaces. The main control board uses 32-bit DSP, CPLD and other large-scale integrated circuits and surface welding technology, and the system has extremely high reliability. The main control board establishes communication links with all power units through the optical fiber communication system, transmits PWM signals to each power unit, and returns information about the status of each power unit. Through the touch screen, the system can be completed, shutdown, reset, function parameter setting and record query. The I/O interface of the main control board is used to complete the external communication in the form of terminal control, and the primary functions are: system terminal reset, work/stop control, external imitation method frequency given, system situation, and working frequency. The input of the main control board also includes a sampling signal to control the power supply and operating current.

The electrical control is centered on the Siemens S7-200 as a high-reliability programmable logic controller (PLC), supplemented by relays, switches and other devices, which serve as the internal logic control of the inverter and the interface between the external and the user. The PLC mainly completes the following functions: exchanges data such as given frequency, working frequency, output current and function number with the main control system; Monitor the proper arrangement, work, and failure of the main control system; Handle inverter-controlled power switching, bypass cabinet switch switching, interlocking, fan, cabinet door, transformer temperature and other signals; Process the user's high-voltage switch signal, control command signal, and provide the user with the inverter working conditions and parameters, so the interface operation language is all Chinese, and the application software is also the Chinese version of the content, which is convenient for users to use, and provides free software upgrades for life.
