Troubleshooting
When there is no start signal, the motor will emit a humming vibration:
Check that the thyristor or module is not damaged and that the bypass contactor is in the closed position.
The motor does not start and needs to be checked:
Terminals 12 and 13 are connected to the operating voltage.
Whether the start-up signal is normal (the circuit between terminals 10 and 8 is off, and the circuit between terminals 10 and 9 is off)
Check that the start and stop signals should not be issued at the same time.
Whether the power supply frequency is normal.
Whether the mains power supply is connected to the terminal RST.
Check all connections.
Reset, apply a stop signal, or cut off the voltage of terminals 12 and 13.
Does the soft start overheat? The fault persists even after the reset if it overheats.
Is the external fault input open? When using a thermal overload protection relay, check if it falls off.
If a failure occurs 60-70 seconds after the start signal is issued, and the soft starter attempts to boost the voltage unsuccessfully, check all wiring (reset, apply a stop signal or cut off the voltage of terminals 12 and 13)
The motor stops during continuous operation:
Is the main loop out of phase? Whether the circuit breaker trips, whether the main contactor is open, whether the fuse is blown, check all connections, reset and apply the stop signal or cut the voltage of terminals 12 and 13.
Parking failure. The bypass contactor is turned off, and the start and stop signals are applied or the voltage of terminals 12 and 13 is cut off when reset, and the load is out of phase and connected.
The above is the description and troubleshooting of the Reynolds soft starter

Precautions for the use of frequency converters - Reynolds
In order to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the inverter, the following keys should be grasped when using the inverter:
1) It is necessary for the grounding terminal of the inverter to be firmly grounded, so as to effectively press the radio frequency disturbance and enhance the reliability of the system: the frequency conversion speed regulation system is best to use independent grounding, grounding resistance...

How long is the cable between the inverter and the motor allowed - Reynolds
The voltage waveform output by the inverter is only similar to a sine wave, but not a real sine wave, and its waveform contains a large number of harmonic components.
As we all know, the higher harmonics will increase the output current of the inverter, causing the motor winding to heat up.

Parameter setting of acceleration and deceleration time of Reynolds universal inverter
The acceleration time of the Reynolds inverter is the time required for the output frequency to rise from 0 to the high frequency, and the deceleration time is the time required to decrease from the high frequency to 0. Generally, the frequency converter uses the frequency setting signal to rise and fall to confirm the acceleration and deceleration time. The rise of the frequency setting must be limited when the motor accelerates.

Introduction to soft starters and their relationship with frequency converters - Reynolds
When the high-power motor starts, the current is large, which will cause the grid voltage to be seriously shaken, in order to deal with this problem, the general requirements for speed regulation are not high, and the soft engine can be used to reduce the voltage and start. However, the drop in the starting current when the step-down is started will also make the starting torque drop significantly.
