Processes are more transparent and machine downtime is less
The Multi Physics Box enables Condition Monitoring. Whether it's motors, pumps, conveyor belts or fans – measurements of temperature, vibration behavior and shock can be indicative of faulty processes that can lead to mechanical or equipment failure. Based on the sensor data, faults can be identified at an early stage and maintenance can be planned based on the condition. The result: cost savings through reduced unplanned downtime.
The combination of several measured dimensions forms a reliable data basis for Condition Monitoring.
The Multi Physics Box can be integrated into an existing system as a stand-alone sensor, or it can be used as a complete solution with a software environment with additional sensors and Cloud Services.
The condition of the equipment can be easily monitored by means of parameterizable limit values, which enables reliable planning of maintenance work.
Cost-effective condition monitoring: With the Multi Physics Box, it's easy to increase machine uptime and schedule maintenance based on condition, thus reducing total costs.
The data quality is high and the parameters are easily evaluated
The Multi Physics Box makes it easy to interpret data. For example, the sensor detects vibrations via MEMS elements and processes them directly depending on the configuration. The final data output provides an indication over a range of time and frequencies that are easier to parse than pure raw data. Vibration limits can be monitored with multi-level alarms in accordance with ISO 10816-3. Optional triggers ensure accurate and repeatable measurements.
Pre-processed interval data reduces the amount of data to be transferred.
ISO 10816-3 compliant, multi-level alarms for easy condition monitoring.
Configuration is quick and easy via SOPAS or IO-Link.
The Multi Physics Box provides concise and easy-to-understand data as a reliable basis for Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance.
Thanks to its robust design and high flexibility, it is universally applicable
The range of applications for the Multi Physics Box is almost limitless. The rugged stainless steel housing provides excellent protection for the sensor. Thanks to its high degree of protection IP68, even fine dust or water does not cause the slightest damage to the sensor. The sensor provides constant, reliable data at ambient temperatures between −40 °C and +80 °C. Thanks to the flexible parameterization method, the sensor can also be used in a wide range of applications. In short: The Multi Physics Box is suitable for continuous condition monitoring in almost any industrial environment and acts as a reliable data provider, even under harsh environmental conditions.
Flexible installation: The Multi Physics Box can be bolted, bonded or mounted to the machine via an adapter plate.
IP68 protection: The Multi Physics Box is reliably protected against dust and water.
Heat-resistant: Temperatures up to +80 °C are no problem for the sensor.
Thanks to its rugged housing and large permissible temperature range, the Multi Physics Box provides accurate and reliable condition data even under challenging environmental conditions.

Sick Sensors – Precautions for the use of pressure sensors
1. The sensor should be handled gently, especially for the small range sensor with aluminum alloy material as the elastomer, any impact or drop caused by vibration is likely to cause a large output error. In addition, it is necessary to protect the sensor outlet head and not to break it
2. Design loading ...

Sick Sensors – What are the precautions for the use of load cells?
1. The signal cable of the sensor should not be arranged in parallel with the strong current power line or control line (for example, do not place the sensor signal line in the same pipe as the strong power line and the control line). IF THEY MUST BE PLACED IN PARALLEL, THEN THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THEM SHOULD BE KEPT AT LEAST 50CM, AND THE SIGNAL ...

Sick Sensors – How RTD sensors work
Thermal resistance is used to measure the temperature of a substance when its temperature changes, and its resistance also changes with the characteristics of the change. When the resistance value changes, the working instrument will display the temperature value corresponding to the resistance value.
RTD sensors use the resistivity of conductors or semiconductors to change with temperature.
