Strain characteristics of pressure sensors

When measuring the strain of an element, the strain gauge can be directly glued to the component, but if you want to measure the force, pressure, acceleration and other signals, these physical quantities must first be converted into strain, and then measured with a strain gage, and the conversion process is more than when measuring directly. The initial part of this transformation process is generally referred to as elastic primitive. Therefore, strain gauge sensors generally consist of elastic primitive strain transducers and strain gauges.

                              Strain characteristics of pressure sensors

The elastic sensitive precursor is the core component of the sensor, which requires the elastic raw material to have a high elastic energy storage ability, which is generally indicated as the ability of the elastic material to store the deformation work without permanent deformation. The pressure sensor has good processing and heat treatment functions and strong compressive strength. Because the influence of temperature is small, the correct selection of elastic strain sensors is an important way to improve strain sensors.

1. The optical accuracy of the measurement scale is high, the load sensor can measure the force of 0.01FS, and the accuracy can reach more than 0.05%FS, and the pressure sensor can measure the pressure of 1000000.1≤ with an accuracy of 0.1%FS.

2. The function is stable and reliable, and the service life is long. For example, levers in weighing machinery show that it is difficult to maintain accuracy over long periods of time because the lever and blade are deformed in conflict with each other, and electronic pumps, truck scales and rail scales made of resistive strain load cells can operate reliably for long periods of time under harsh environmental conditions.

3. The frequency echo is very good, the response time of the resistance strain gauge of the pressure sensor is 0.01ms, if 0.001MS can measure the elastic original parts, the strain sensor composed of it can measure the dynamic process of tens of kilohertz or even hundreds of kilohertz.
