1. When the working conditions of the exterior are changed (such as changing the medium, changing the ambient temperature, etc.), the zero position of the exterior should be adjusted from the beginning. At the same time, the outer surface of the catheter must be leveled and calibrated with a spirit level. Failure to do so will increase the effect of the change in operating conditions on the zero drift. The rack should not be sensational or rocking, so it should not be used on the boat.

Correlation calculation is carried out on a large number of test data in the range of 0-100kg/cm2 pressure and 0-7 standard liter/hour flow rate (air), and the linear regression equation is calculated by the principle of small squares, and the correlation coefficient λ value is in the range of 0.999-0.9999, which proves that the appearance has outstanding linearity. However, the greater the flow rate and the greater the size of the range, the more severe the nonlinearity, so the range is generally limited to 0-4 rL/hr (air) to ensure excellent linearity. In order to measure large flow rates and ensure linearity, the shunt principle can be used to extend the range of the outer surface. If the bypass pipe, venturi tube, orifice plate, etc. are used together, the range can be expanded to tens, hundreds, and thousands of standard liters per hour, until tens of thousands of standard cubic meters.

3. Although the specific heat of the real gas changes with the difference of pressure and even the change of some gases fluctuates greatly, the measurement accuracy of the appearance can still be kept within the certain range.

4. In addition to considering the corrosion resistance, it is better to choose materials with good thermal conductivity in addition to considering corrosion resistance. Taking mesh nitrogen as an example, the same test is in the range of 0-100kg/cm2 pressure and 0-7 standard liters/hour flow, the measurement accuracy of nickel tube is 2-2.5% and that of stainless steel is 3-4% (the thermal conductivity of nickel is about three times that of stainless steel).

5. Because the gas flowmeter must be relatively stable in the specific heat of the gas before it can operate normally, it is not suitable to use this appearance if the gas composition is unstable, the gas has mist, and the operating conditions are close to the liquefaction critical zone of the gas, because the specific heat value is very unstable. For example, the critical point of ethylene liquefaction is 50 kg/cm2 and 9.9°C, and when the pressure exceeds 30 kg/cm2 during the test, the surface reading begins to be unstable.

6. If a gas medium is changed, the flowmeter is calibrated from scratch. In the general appearance of the manual, it is often introduced that the flow rate of the uncalibrated gas is not calibrated from scratch, but only based on the specific heat of the two gases, although it is simple and convenient, but it will form a large error, especially when working under high pressure, we find that the sensitivity of the appearance is not completely proportional to the specific heat, and it is appropriate to calibrate from the beginning.

7. Before use, the machine must be turned on and preheated, and the appearance is unstable before it is fully preheated. A better model has a warm-up time of less than two hours.

8. In the process of application, when the gas flow rate changes suddenly, the temperature in the tube must be dispersed from the beginning through the transmission of heat, so the output signal must be stable from the beginning. In order to reduce this hysteresis, manufacturers often add differential networks to the external electrical circuits to make the output signal respond quickly. This is especially necessary when cooperating with other external tables for traffic control.
