1. The operating ambient temperature of the inverter (mainly refers to the air temperature of the air inlet of the power unit cabinet) requires a minimum ambient temperature of -5 °C and a maximum ambient temperature of 40 °C. In order to improve the reliability and extend the service life of the drive, check the following items:

If the air conditioning refrigeration method is used, please appropriately lower the refrigeration temperature of the air conditioner and keep the temperature of the inverter air inlet not exceeding 40°C;

If the air and water cooling device is used for heat dissipation, please check whether the cooling water flow rate is normal, whether the fan of the air and water cooling device is normal, if possible, please test the wind speed and temperature of the air outlet of the air cooling device to ensure that the wind speed is not less than 5 m/s, the temperature is not higher than 40°C, and turn on the air conditioner for auxiliary heat dissipation (if any);

If in-line heat dissipation is used, please strengthen the inspection of the filter screen of the air inlet in the room to avoid negative pressure in the room. The negative pressure of the room indicates that the air inlet volume of the room is less than the air output volume, and the heat dissipation efficiency will be reduced. The judgment method is: the door of the room can be opened normally without effort, which means that the ventilation is normal.

2. Check whether the cooling fan on the top of the inverter cabinet is running normally. Place a piece of standard A4 paper on the filter screen of the cabinet door, and the paper should be adsorbed on the filter screen of the air inlet.

3. The relative humidity of the environment in the operation of the inverter should not be higher than 95%, otherwise condensation may occur when the load of the inverter changes, causing the insulation damage of the live part of the inverter. If the relative humidity is high, turn on the dehumidification function of the air conditioner or buy a dehumidifier (a normal dehumidifier is sufficient) to install in the room.

4. Ensure that the ventilation and lighting of the frequency conversion room are good, and the ventilation and heat dissipation equipment (air conditioner, ventilation fan, etc.) can operate normally.

5. There shall be no excessive amount of dust, acid, salt, corrosive and explosive gases in the air around the inverter, and the inverter room should be kept clean and tidy, and the filter screen should be cleaned regularly according to the dust situation of the on-site environment.

6. Prevent the inverter from being exposed to direct sunlight or placed close to the heating source.

7. Summer is the rainy season, and rainwater should be prevented from entering the inverter, such as: rainwater along the air outlet and cable entering.

8. Compile the inverter operation record table, regularly record the operation data of the inverter and the motor, including the output frequency of the inverter, the output current, the output voltage, the coil temperature of the phase-shifting transformer and other parameters, and compare them with reasonable data, so as to facilitate the early detection of hidden faults.
