Input/output pins P0, P1, P2, P3 functions

P0.0——P0. 7 : Port P0 is an 8-bit open-drain bidirectional I/O port. When visiting off-chip memory, it is time-shared for a low-8-bit address and an 8-bit bidirectional data bus. When EPROM is programmed, the instruction byte is input by P0, and when the program is verified, the instruction byte is output. When verifying the program, an external pull-up resistor is required. P0 can drive 8 LSTTL loads by soaking current.

                                 Input/output pins P0, P1, P2, P3 functions

P1. 0 ——P1. 7 (1-8 pins): P1 is an 8-bit bidirectional I/O port with an internal pull-up resistor. When EPROM is programmed and validated by the program, it enters the lower 8-bit address. P1 can drive 4 LSTTL loads.

In 8032/8052, P1. 0 is also equivalent to the dedicated utility terminal T2, which is the count-triggered input of the timer; P1. 1 is also equivalent to the dedicated utility terminal T2EX, which is the external control end of timer T2.

P2.0 – P2.7 (21 – 28 pins): P2 is also an 8-bit bidirectional I/O port with an internal pull-up resistor. When visiting external memory, it outputs an 8-bit higher address. When programming and verifying the EPROM, it enters an 8-bit higher address. P2 is capable of driving 4 LSTTL loads.

P3. 0 ——P3. 7 (10-17 pins): P3 is also a bidirectional I/O port with an internal pull-up resistor. In the MCS-51, these 8 pins are also used for a dedicated secondary function. The P3 can drive up to 4 LSTTL loads.
