4. Form a protective atmosphere (such as CO2, argon, etc.) to limit air ingress.

5. Control the arc length. Because the longer the arc, the more oxygen is invading.

6. For important welded structures, if the structure and performance of welded joints cannot meet the requirements, post-weld heat treatment (annealing, tempering, quenching) can be adopted to improve the structure and properties of welded joints, and at the same time, welding stress can also be eliminated or reduced.

Through the above measures, the quality of the weld can be improved, and the quality of the weldment can be guaranteed.
