The robot welding gun refers to the part of the welding process that performs the welding operation, which is flexible, convenient and fast, and the process is simple. The welding torch uses the heat generated by the high current and high voltage of the welding machine to collect at the end of the welding torch to melt the welding wire, and the molten welding wire penetrates into the part to be welded, and after cooling, the welded object is firmly connected into a rest.

1. Selection of robot welding guns

According to the different locations, it is divided into two types: hollow built-in welding torch and external welding torch; According to the different cooling methods of welding guns, they can be divided into two types: water-cooled welding guns and air-cooled welding guns.

For different welding processes, different forms of welding guns should be selected. For example, for the welding of thin plates in general carbon steel, if CO is selected as the maintenance gas, and the operating current is less than 300A, the general welding torch can be used. If the working current is large, or (20% CO, +80%Ar) mixed gas welding is used, a water-cooled welding torch should be used.

2. Laser welding robot

It is an industrial robot used for active operation of laser welding, and a more flexible laser processing industry is realized through high-precision industrial robots, and the thing held at the end is the laser processing head.

Modern metalworking has higher and higher requirements for welding strength and appearance, and traditional welding methods will inevitably cause problems such as distortion and deformation of the workpiece because of the large heat input.

A. In order to make up for the deformation of the workpiece, a lot of follow-up processing methods are required, which leads to the rise of costs.

B. The selection of full active laser welding skills, with the smallest heat input and a very small heat affected zone, significantly improves the quality of welding products, and also reduces the follow-up operation time.

C. Because of the fast welding speed and large weld depth-width ratio, the welding power and stability can be greatly improved.

The welding torch used by the robot also needs to be equipped with an anti-collision sensor, so that the robot can stop the action in time when there is a problem in the process of debugging and application, so as to reduce the damage to the equipment and maintain the integrity of the equipment to a certain extent.
