1. Measure resistance (surface power-off)

(1) First use a multimeter to measure the input and output resistance of the load cell, and then compare it with the clarification. If there is a big difference, it will be broken. The input and output resistance of the load cell is measured with a multimeter and then compared with the clarification. If there is a big discrepancy, it means that the load cell is broken.

(2) If there is no clarification, then measure the input resistance, that is, the resistance between EXC+ and EXC-; Output resistance, i.e., resistance between SIG+ and SIG-; Bridge resistance, i.e., the resistance between EXC+ to SIG+, EXC+ to SIG-, EXC- to SIG+, EXC- to SIG-. The input resistance, output resistance, and bridge resistance should be satisfied with the following relationships:

(1) Input resistance> output resistance > bridge resistance

(2) The bridge resistance is equal or equal in pairs

2. Measure the voltage (surface energized)

First, use the DC voltage of the multimeter to measure the voltage value between the surface terminal EXC+ and EXC-. This is the excitation voltage of the sensor, there are DC5V, there are DC10V, here we take DC5V as an example.

The output sensitivity of the load cell we have come into contact with is generally 2 mV/V, that is, the linear relationship between the output signal of the sensor signal corresponding to the output of 2mV for every 1V excitation voltage.

When there is no load, use the mv file of the multimeter to measure the mv number between SIG+ and SIG- lines, if it is about 1-2mv, it is correct; If the MV number is particularly large, it indicates that the load cell is broken.

When loading, measure the number of mv between SIG+ and SIG- lines with the mv file of the multimeter, which will increase proportionally to the weight of the load, zui is 5V (excitation voltage) * 2 mv/V (sensitivity) = about 10mv, if not, it means that the load cell is broken.

3. Insulation of load cell cables

The insulation of the load cell cable refers to the resistance between EXC+, EXC-, SEN+, SEN-, SIG+, SIG- and the shield ground wire, respectively. When measuring, the multimeter resistance file is used. The gear is selected at 20M, and the measurement value should be infinity, if not, it means that the load cell is broken.
