The importance of welding skills in drive maintenance
During the repair process, the most likely welding condition to present is a virtual welding condition. Virtual soldering is when the surface appears to be soldered together, but in fact the solder and the pins are not connected, or the pins and pads are not securely soldered together. This condition is called virtual soldering. When friends know that there is virtual soldering, the way to prevent virtual soldering is to solder the pins of the components first, and then solder them to the circuit board, perhaps clean the pins of the components before soldering, so as to prevent virtual soldering.
Another welding problem that is prone to occur is lap welding. What is Lap Joint? In other words, in soldering, because the pins of the components are too tight (e.g., when soldering the pins of an integrated circuit in an SSOP package), the repairman solders two solder joints that should not be included together. This condition is called lap welding. This situation is not known to the repair personnel. The way to prevent lap welding is to be careful when repairing the inverter. Every time you weld a component, double-check for overlap welds. If so, it should be rectified immediately. After the correction is completed, it is checked again and that there will be no lap welding.
