The wiring between the inverter and the external potentiometer should be shielded wires, and all three wires should be shielded. When the interval between the inverter and the external potentiometer exceeds 2 meters, the quality of the shielded wire should be considered, and the wire diameter should not be small. When the interval between the inverter and the external potentiometer exceeds 10 meters, it is advocated to ensure the quality of the shielded wire and the wire diameter, and then put the iron pipe. In order to ensure the quality of the shielded wire and the diameter of the wire under the iron pipe, the interval can exceed 200 meters, the principle is that the inverter end, the line voltage drop can be negligent, if the voltage drop is too large, the single-core copper wire shield can be used to replace the shielded wire.

If closed-loop automatic control is used for the control of the inverter, the process parameters, such as flow, liquid level, pressure and temperature in the production process, must be converted into a signal of 4-20mA through the transmitter and regulator, and sent to the signal input end of the inverter to achieve the purpose of frequency conversion control. The frequency setting can be achieved by connecting an external frequency setting potentiometer.

The use of RP has its limitations. This is because the RP inputs a voltage signal from 0 to 10V, and the voltage signal is interfered with with the extension of the transmission interval. If the installation site is far away from the inverter, the accuracy of signal transmission cannot be guaranteed. In this case, the frequency signal can be set as follows: in the input terminals X1-X9, arbitrarily specify two terminals, and set their data to "17" (increase instruction) and "18" (subtract instruction), so that when the signal (ON) is running, the set frequency can be increased/decreased by the input signal with the external contact.

Specify X1 as the frequency increment command terminal; X2 is the frequency subtraction command terminal. The components in the dotted frame, namely the running and stop buttons SB1 and SB2, the frequency increase and decrease buttons SB3 and SB4, and the frequency meter P are all installed on the field operation post. The operating column can be selected from the explosion-proof variable frequency speed regulation operating column produced by professional manufacturers. When using SB3, press and hold the frequency, the frequency increases, release the hand, and the frequency is fixed on a certain frequency value; In the same way, hold SB4, the frequency decreases, release the hand, and the frequency is fixed on another frequency value.
