If OB86 is not downloaded, the CPU will stop during a transient outage. Now it is common to download an empty OB86 to deal with the downtime caused by the intermittent break.
However, there are risks associated with this, and if it is not a flash outage, but a real network failure or slave failure, it can have catastrophic consequences if it is not down. For this reason, the following measures can be used to determine whether it is a flash break or a persistent slave fault.
1) In OB86, identify which network and which slave are faulty. If it is an "entry thing" (fault presentation), the M azimuth position for exclusive use of the slave will be used. If the fault of the slave is "something to leave" (the fault disappears), the M-bit for the slave is reset.
2) In OB1, start the 200ms punctuality with this M bit, and call SFC 46 (STP) when the punctuality time is up, causing the CPU to stop. If there is a transient break (the moment when M is 1 is less than 200ms), the punctuality of the timer is aborted and there is no shutdown.
3) Use one word to record the number of calls to OB86 and use HMI to display the number of calls to OB86.
If the faults of intermittent interruptions are frequent, the hardware must be dealt with, such as replacing the DP adapter, dealing with grounding, shielding, equipotential connection, anti-turbulence, etc.
