1. Hardware installation

@以下操作务必在安川机器人断电状态下执行.

1. Remove the corresponding screws and pull out the bus bracket.

2. Remove the front bezel

3. Insert the DeviceNet substrate and tighten the front plate screws.

4. Insert the board unit into the CPU unit as a whole and tighten the screws at the four corners.

2. Software settings

Press and hold the [Main Menu] button to power on, and enter the "Management Mode"

2. Click "System" → "Security Mode" to enter the management mode

3. Click "Settings" and select "Options Baseboard"

4. Select DN4-PCU-1 on the option board and select "Use" to modify the DeviceNet settings as needed

5. Press [Enter] to appear the "Modify" dialog box, click "Yes" to appear the I/O unit table, press [Enter]

6. Press [Enter] again until the "Modify" dialog box appears, and select "Yes"

7. The external I/O setting screen appears, and you can choose to set the external I/O assignment automatically or manually according to your needs

8. After setting the external I/O allocation, press [Enter], the "Modify" dialog box appears, click "Yes" to complete the DeviceNet software installation and settings

9. Click "System" again → "Safe Mode" to select Safe Mode

10. Click on "File" → "Initialize"

11. Press [Enter] at the "Mechanical Safety Substrate FLASH Data Clearing" to pop up the "Clear" dialog box, and click "Yes"

12. Press [Enter] at the "Mechanical Safety Substrate FLASH Data Reset" to pop up the "Reset" dialog box, and click "Yes"

13. Press [Enter] at the "Mechanical Safety Substrate FLASH Data Reset" to pop up the "Reset" dialog box, and click "Yes"
