1. Modbus to Profinet gateway configuration method: open the Botu, create a new project and add the GSD file.
2. Establish a Profinet connection, set the IP address and device title of the Modbus to Profinet gateway, and keep the IP in the same network segment as the Modbus to Profinet gateway.
3. Enter the Modbus to Profinet gateway device view and select the total data length of the input and output.

5. Download the equipment to the PLC, open the Modbus to Profinet gateway equipment software to equip the modbus parameters, click New, and select PN2MM.

The response waiting and polling delay requirements are adjusted according to the time distance of the slave equipment, if the slave reply speed is slow, the echo waiting time will be increased, and if the slave replies and requires waiting for a period of time before receiving the next instruction, then the polling delay needs to be increased. 12. Note: In the Modbus to Profinet gateway equipment software, if the check digit is not none, the data bit should be selected 9, and the address here can be seen as 16# BC41 (decimal 48193) station address is 1.

However, the address of Delta's communication manual is 2000H (8192), which is because the address area of 4XXXX has been added to the Siemens PLC, and because the PLC opening address has the beginning of 40001, the offset is caused. It can be seen that the instruction register address area is 4 area, and the corresponding function code is 06 or 10 (depending on the slave requirements).
