Under normal circumstances, for reducers that have been operating continuously for a long time, the new oil should be replaced according to the operation of 5000 hours or once a year, and the reducer that has been out of service for a long time should also be replaced with new oil before starting from scratch. The reducer should be added with the same oil as the original trademark, and should not be mixed with the oil of different trademarks, and the oil with the same trademark but different viscosity is allowed to be mixed;

2. When changing the oil, it is necessary to wait for the reducer to cool down and stop without the risk of incineration, but it should still be warm, because after thorough cooling, the viscosity of the oil will increase, and it will be difficult to drain the oil. Note: Intercept the power supply of the transmission device to avoid unintentional power-on;

3. During the operation, when it is found that the oil temperature rises more than 80 °C or the oil pool temperature exceeds 100 °C and abnormal noise and other phenomena, the use should be stopped, the cause should be checked, it is necessary to eliminate the fault, replace the lubricating oil, and then continue the operation;

4. The user should have reasonable rules and regulations for the use of protection, and the operation of the reducer and the problems found in the inspection should be carefully recorded, and the above rules should be strictly implemented.

The selection of grease is based on the bearing load of the walking reducer, and the grease with small penetration should be selected for heavy loads. When working under high pressure, in addition to the small penetration degree, it is also necessary to have high oil film strength and extreme pressure function. Calcium-based grease has good water resistance, is not easy to emulsify and deteriorate through water, and can be suitable for lubrication of various mechanical parts in humid environments or in contact with water. When selecting grease according to the operating temperature, the primary goal should be the dropping point, oxidative stability and low temperature function, the drop point can generally be used to evaluate the high temperature function, and the practical operating temperature of the bearing should be 10-20 °C lower than the drop point. Synthetic greases should be used at temperatures 20-30°C below the dropping point.

It is forbidden to mix different lubricants with each other. The orientation of the oil level plug, oil drain plug and aerator is determined by the installation position.

Oil Level View:

2. Remove the oil level plug to check whether the oil is full;

3. Install the oil level plug.

View of oil:

After cooling, the viscosity of the oil increases, and it is difficult to drain the oil, and the reducer should change the oil at the operating temperature.
