Advantech recently launched its new edge AI platform, the MIC-715, a rugged ultra-cost-effective edge computing product equipped with a powerful NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module that supports Wi-Fi, 4G/LTE, and 5G simultaneously. It is worth mentioning that the MIC-715 has IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, which can be applied to all kinds of harsh environments, and the interface adopts fixed vibration-resistant connectors, is equipped with machine ignition protection system, and supports M12 PoE and GMSL video interfaces. Advantech's MIC-715 is based on the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX platform – a compact, lightweight, fanless design (product dimensions: 275 x 220 x 80mm; 4.5 kg) supports deep learning models.

2. Protection mechanism to ensure reliable operation
MIC-715 supports protective ignition device, which can make the machine start normally without damage when the input voltage is too high instantaneously to avoid system operation being affected, and at the same time support the delayed shutdown protection function in the case of sudden power failure. The user can also manually adjust the switching time of the protection mechanism.
As part of the MIC-AI family, the MIC-715 offers rich I/O interfaces, support for connecting multiple devices, excellent longevity, and board support package (BSP) capabilities.
