Advantech recently launched a new ultra-wide temperature SQRAM DDR4 3200 rugged memory solution, the SQR-SD4E, which provides reliable industrial-grade stability applications in the operating temperature range of -40 to +125°C. SQR-SD4E uses Micron's original automotive-grade DRAM IC, which supports an operating temperature of -40 to 125°C, which solves the problem of overheating. The product's innovative design and unique specifications ensure exceptional durability in high-temperature, critical applications such as military, automotive, mining, and heavy industry.
Today's high-performance computing applications generate more heat, especially outdoors. Higher power requirements for embedded computing in key markets mean that thermal management issues are ever-present. Advantech's SQR-SD4E is designed with Micron's original automotive-grade DRAM IC and 30μ" gold finger PCB, which can support an operating temperature of -40-+125°C. The SQR-SD4E series has undergone extreme long-term programming and stress testing to ensure its reliability. It supports SODIMM specifications, has 8GB/16GB/32GB and other capacities, and the transmission rate is up to 3200MT/s.
High robustness and reliability
To meet the diverse requirements of critical industrial applications, Advantech's SQR-SD4E also meets the rugged performance requirements. The underfill technology is used to provide stronger structural support between the DRAM chip and the substrate, effectively reducing edge stress. At the same time, it is better protected against moisture and other environmental hazards to improve the stability and durability of memory modules.
Due to the special memory performance requirements required, not all high-performance embedded computing applications can fully benefit from ruggedization. The SQR-SD4E SQRAM offers different options for different use cases. The additional heatsink dissipates more heat and keeps the module temperature low enough to avoid overheating during operation. Having an additional heatsink can improve the durability of the memory module in the most critical environments.
Supports SQRAM Manager intelligent software
Advantech's SQ RAM supports Advantech's proprietary SQ Manager software, which can monitor DRAM in real-time and provide useful information, including dynamic memory speed, temperature, and advanced overtemperature alarms to inform users of the health status of the memory system.
