Step Instruction (STL) is an instruction that uses internal software components to control the process step on top of the sequential control program. A step-to-back instruction (RET) is an instruction that is used to return to the main program (bus) after the state (S) process is completed.

Be mindful when applying step commands

1. As long as the stepping contact is normally open, and there is no normally closed contact, it is indicated that the instruction is indicated by STL, and the other relay contacts connected to the stepping contact are indicated by LD or LDI instruction, and after the STL instruction is used, the RET instruction is applied to make the LD point back to the left bus.

2. The circuit behind the stepper contact can only operate when it is closed. If the stepper contact is disconnected, the circuits behind it will be completely disconnected. However, after 1 scan cycle, the command is no longer fulfilled.

3. The address number of the status cannot be reused.
