The control layer/MELSECNET/10 (H) is the middle layer of the entire network system, which is a control network for convenient and high-speed processing data transfer between PLC, CNC and other control equipment. MELSECNET/10, which is a MELSEC control network, has won high ratings in shopping malls for its good real-time performance, simple network settings, program-free network data sharing concept, and redundant loops, and the number of devices used is the highest in Japan and few in the world. MELSECNET/H not only inherits the excellent features of MELSECNET/10, but also makes the network more real-time and has a larger data capacity, further accustoming itself to the needs of shopping malls.

3. The information layer/Ethernet (Ethernet) information layer is the middle and highest level of the network system, which is mainly used to transmit data such as production management information, quality management information and equipment working conditions between PLC, equipment controller and production management PC, and the information layer uses the most common Ethernet. It can not only connect to Windows PC, UNIX workstation, etc., but also to various FA devices. The Ethernet module of the Q series PLC series has the function of sending and receiving e-mails on the Internet, which allows users to easily send and receive production information e-mails anywhere in the world, and build a long-distance monitoring and management system. At the same time, the FTP server function of the Internet and the MELSEC protocol can be used to easily complete the upload/download of programs and the transfer of information.

In addition, in addition to the above-mentioned networks, the Q series PLC can also support the networks of other manufacturers such as Profibus, Modbus, Devicenet, ASi, etc., and can also carry out serial communication such as RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, and carry out data transmission and other communication methods through data dedicated lines and telephone lines.

When communicating in Mitsubishi's PLC network, there is no difference or discontinuity in the type of network, and data communication between networks and long-distance monitoring, modification, and debugging of programs can be carried out regardless of the level and type of network. MELSECNET/H and CC-Link use a circular communication method to send and receive messages automatically and periodically, without the need for a special data communication program, and only a simple parameter setting. MELSECNET/H and CC-Link use the broadcast method to send and receive circular communication, so that data can be shared on the network. For Ethernet, MELSECNET/H, CC-Link networks used in Q Series PLCs, you can easily set network parameters and various functions on the GXDeveloper software screen.
