The LMT series of hygienic level sensors launched by ifm electronics is a compact housing made of high-grade stainless steel 316L, which can reach the protection level of IP68/69K, and can be used in sanitary areas and meet the standards of the food profession.
LMT series liquid level sensor is based on the operating principle of impedance spectrum measurement, not only can detect the empty/full condition of the container in the same way as the traditional sensor, but also can distinguish the adhesion or foam that is difficult to detect by the general sensor after the analysis of the impedance characteristics of the medium, and then obtain the liquid level information in practice, which improves the reliability of detection.
The product completes the detection of 3 different conditions of the liquid level, namely full detection, air detection and dry detection. The multi-functional inspection meets the needs of different customers.
According to the operating principle of impedance spectrum measurement, not only can the empty/full condition of the container be detected in the same way as the traditional sensor, but also the adhesion or foam that is difficult to detect by ordinary sensors can be distinguished by analyzing the impedance characteristics of the medium, and then the liquid level information can be obtained in practice, which improves the reliability of the detection.
