The principle of a load cell is that the gravity on the measured object is converted into a measurable output signal in a certain proportion.

The load cell can generally be connected to the PLC or the quadratic meter for the number display.

Regarding the use of PLC connection load cells in the factory, we generally have two ways to complete;

1. Why do you need to add a secondary meter when using the analog input of the load cell plus the secondary meter and the PLC?

Because the sensor is bent by the weight of the object and a mv voltage signal, the PLC can not be read directly, so the need for the quadratic meter to convert, when it comes to conversion, we all know that there must be a loss, this loss is not very large, but about the accurate measurement will have a great impact, generally about the equipment with more than 10g accuracy, this loss has a great impact on the result, so the advantage of this method is cheap, and there is not much requirement for the PLC system, Since most of the PLCs in the world have analog input functions. However, the defect cannot be applied in cases where high accuracy is required.

Second, if you want to seek accuracy, you can choose a more expensive method, which is to use a load cell and a PLC weigh module for measurement

The accuracy obtained by this method is very high, because there is no loss in the PLC connection to its own module, and the reading speed of this method is also very fast, and can be applied in various messy occasions.

Then its defect is that the PLC system has great requirements, the first PLC needs to use the weigh module, and the general weigh module price is relatively high, and the use of a new weighing system has required it to be calibrated, once the load cell is damaged and replaced, it also needs to be recalibrated. The calibration of weigh modules is not very simple and requires a certain amount of experience and skills, so this skill is not suitable for novices.
