It has the functions of exploring and developing different systems according to IEC 61499, verifying the interoperability and interchangeability of hardware and software from different vendors, demonstrating the high reusability of software components modeled according to property, and conducting IEC 61499 training for engineering skills. The planning criteria for the validation platform are as follows:
