All Eplan software users can visit the Eplan website (directly from the Eplan software). The EPLAN database includes databases from different companies (Schneider, Siemens, etc.).
Schneider products that meet the following 2 conditions can be found in the Eplan database:
- Eplan has been created by Schneider
- The Eplan file has been sent to Epaln and the device manufacturer (Schneider) has asked Eplan to embed their device or product into the Eplan database (this process is a paid service).
The Eplan Data Portal is a server in Germany that guarantees the completeness of the data structure (e.g. symbols, macros, features).
If you can't find the Eplan file on the Eplan website, it may be because the manufacturer hasn't created it yet, or may not have asked Eplan to process and publish it.
Eplan documents can only be obtained through the official website of Eplan.
