IFM sensors are widely used in electromechanical control systems due to their high sensitivity, low output impedance, simple structure, strong anti-interference ability, high output power and high measurement accuracy. So how should we maintain it during use? The following is an introduction.
Daily maintenance of ifm sensors:
1. When measuring the liquid pressure, in order to prevent the sensor from being damaged by overpressure, the device position of the sensor should prevent the impact of the liquid.
2. When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, it is necessary to connect a condenser such as a buffer pipe.
3. The impulse pipe should be installed in a place where the temperature fluctuation is small.
4. When wiring, in order to prevent rainwater from leaking into the transmitter housing through the cable, it is necessary to pass the cable through the waterproof joint or winding pipe and tighten the sealing nut.
5. Prevent the sensor from coming into contact with corrosive or overheated media, and prevent residues from accumulating in the catheter.
6. When measuring the liquid pressure, in order to prevent the accumulation of slag, the pressure port should be opened next to the process pipeline.
7. When freezing occurs in winter, in order to prevent the liquid in the impulse port from expanding due to icing volume, resulting in the loss of the sensor, the sensor installed outdoors should adopt anti-freezing methods.
8. When measuring gas pressure, in order to facilitate the simple injection of accumulated liquid into the process pipeline, the sensor should be installed in the upper part of the process pipeline, and the pressure port should also be opened at the top of the process pipeline.

Selection of sensor sensitivity and range – ifm
The sensitivity of the sensor is one of the most basic goals of the sensor. The sensitivity of the sensor directly affects the measurement of the oscillation signal. It is not difficult to understand that the sensitivity of the sensor should be determined according to the size of the oscillation (acceleration value) to be measured, but since piezoelectric acceleration is a measurement of the acceleration value of the oscillation, ...

Sensors in the mass flow controller – ifm
The mass flow manipulator is a new type of flow measurement and monitoring instrument, as well as an instrument that can conveniently monitor the activity of different gases in the pipeline without temperature and pressure compensation. Its working principle is to send the flow signal measured by the heating bridge of the sensor to the amplifier for amplification, and the enlarged ...

The reason why the output signal of the photoelectric sensor is unstable
Photoelectric switch (photoelectric sensor) is the abbreviation of photoelectric proximity switch, which uses the shielding or reflection of the beam by the detected object to connect the circuit by the synchronous loop to detect the presence or absence of the object. When the photoelectric sensor outputs the signal, the signal is occasionally unstable, and many people do not know what to do.

Differential pressure sensor function – ifm sensors
A differential pressure sensor is a sensor used to measure the difference between two pressures, usually used to measure the pressure difference between the front and rear ends of a device or component.
A typical application of differential pressure sensors is to measure the difference in exhaust pressure between the front and rear channels of the exhaust particulate trap of a passenger car engine.

Three major load cells – ifm sensors
1. Resistance strain gauge
The resistance strain gauge is a resistance wire mechanically distributed on a substrate made of organic materials, that is, it becomes a strain gauge. An important parameter for him is the sensitivity coefficient K. When his ends are subjected to the F force, they will elongate, that is, they will be deformed. ...

The reason why the load cell has no signal – ifm
When using load cells to detect the distance of objects, many users encounter the problem that the load cell does not output a signal after detecting an object, resulting in the inability to perform subsequent data analysis. But the reason is not always like that, the load cell does not lose after detecting the object.

Load cell wiring method – ifm
There are four-wire and six-wire load cells. Four-wire system: EXC EXC: Power cord, that is, the DC power supply supplied by the instrument to the sensor. SIG, SIG-: The signal line, that is, the signal line output by the sensor, is output to the instrument. In addition to the above four lines, there are more than two in the four-wire system: SEN, SEN-: feedback line ...

Precautions for the installation of ultrasonic level gauges
1. The appearance is installed outdoors, and it is recommended to install a sunshade to prolong the service life of the appearance.
2. Wire and cable protection pipes should be sealed to avoid water accumulation.
3. Although the appearance itself is equipped with lightning protection equipment, when the appearance is used in the multi-lightning area, it is advocated to distinguish the inlet and outlet lines on the surface.
