1. Resistance strain gauge

The resistance strain gauge is a resistance wire mechanically distributed on a substrate made of organic materials, that is, it becomes a strain gauge. An important parameter for him is the sensitivity coefficient K. When his ends are subjected to the F force, they will elongate, that is, they will be deformed. Let its elongation reduce its cross-sectional area, i.e., its cross-sectional circle radius decreases.

There is a proportional relationship between the resistance change rate (relative change in resistance) and the elongation of the resistance wire (relative change in length) of the resistance strain gauge.

The requirement clarifies that the size of the K value of the sensitivity coefficient is a constant determined by the nature of the material used to manufacture the metal resistance wire, which has nothing to do with the shape and size of the strain gauge, and the K value of different data is generally between 1.7 and 3.6; Secondly, the K value is a dimensionless quantity, i.e., it has no dimension.

In data mechanics, ΔL/L is called strain, denoted as ε, and it is used to show that elasticity is often too large and inconvenient, and it is often written as one millionth of a unit and denoted as με.

2. Detection circuit

The function of the detection circuit is to change the resistance of the resistive strain gauge into a voltage output. Because the Wheatstone bridge has many advantages, such as the ability to press the influence of temperature changes, the ability to press lateral force interference, and the ability to easily deal with the compensation problem of load cells, etc., the Wheatstone bridge has been widely used in load cells.

Because the sensitivity of the full-bridge equal-arm bridge is the highest, the parameters of each arm are common, and the influence of various interferences is easy to cancel each other, so the load cells are all full-bridge equal-arm bridges.

3. Elastomers

An elastomer is a structural component with a special shape. It has two functions, the first is that it bears the external force of the load cell, and reacts to the external force to achieve a relatively static balance; Secondly, it is necessary to generate a high-quality strain field (zone), so that the resistance strain gauge posted in this zone is more ambitious to complete the strain jujube electrical signal conversion mission.
