Introduction to Thermal Transfer
Transfer printing refers to a printing method that selects the corresponding pressure to transfer the graphics and text on the intermediate carrier film to the substrate, and according to the different selection pressures, transfer printing can be divided into water transfer printing, heat transfer printing, air transfer printing, screen transfer printing, low temperature transfer printing and so on. In the meantime, heat transfer printing is a special printing process that uses heat transfer ink (i.e., sublimation ink) to print wanton paintings such as portraits and landscapes on colorful inkjet paper (or special inkjet printing paper for sublimation), or general ink is printed on adhesive film heat transfer paper, and then heated to a certain temperature within a few minutes by heat transfer heating equipment, and the pictures on the paper are transferred to porcelain, glass, metal, plastic, cotton textiles and other raw materials with realistic colors.
There are generally two types of plastic buckets: round and cone-shaped. Generally, the drum thermal transfer only needs to rotate the heating roller at a uniform speed to drive the transfer film, and the winding roller can serve as the winding film; Due to its taper, the speed of the measurement line of the aperture is inconsistent, if the planned heat transfer of the general round barrel is selected, it will cause one side to be flat and the other side to fold, and because the conical barrel is printed in a fan shape, the printing picture can not be printed correctly on the cone barrel.
Project Usage
Through the geometric principle of conical barrel printing, in order to complete the transfer of fan printing to the tapered barrel, it is necessary to translate the whole printing before and after and rotate the printing center, cooperate with the rotation of the hot printing roller, and complete the three-axis synchronous operation through strict function connection to complete the entire printing process.
For the thermal transfer of taper plastic barrels, the electronic cam is used to bind the printing feed, printing rotation and hot roller rotation, and the control plan is shown in the figure below.
