Therefore, we must attach great importance to the problem of heat dissipation! When the inverter is working, the amount of current passing through the inverter is very large, and the heat generated by the inverter is also large, so the harm caused by its heat cannot be neglected.
Generally, when the inverter is installed in the control cabinet, we need to grasp the approximate amount of heat generated by an inverter, which can be calculated and estimated by the following formula: Calorific value = inverter capacity (KW) ×55 [W]. Here, assuming that the capacity of the inverter is specified by the constant rotation load (the overcurrent can only be 150% * 60s), and assuming that the inverter contains a DC series reactor or AC series reactor, and it is also in the wooden cabinet, the heat generation will be higher.
It is better to install the series reactor on the side or side of the inverter. At this time, it can be estimated: inverter capacity (KW) ×60 [W] Because the hardware configuration of each inverter manufacturer is similar, the above formula can be about the products of various brands.
PS: If there is a braking resistor, because the braking resistor has a large amount of heat dissipation, so the installation part is isolated from the inverter, which can be installed on the wooden cabinet or on the side. So, how can we reduce the amount of heat generated in the control cabinet?
When the inverter is installed in the operating cabinet, the problem of the burn value of the inverter should be taken into account. According to the increase in the calorific value formed in the cabinet, the standard of the cabinet should be moderately improved. Therefore, in order to reduce the standard of operating the cabinet as much as possible, it is necessary to reduce the calorific value formed in the cabinet as much as possible.
Assuming that when the inverter is installed, a part of the radiator of the inverter is put into the outside of the operating cabinet, and 70% of the heat generated by the inverter may be released to the outside of the operating cabinet. Because the large space inverter has a large amount of heat, it is more reasonable for the large space inverter. You can also use a protective plate to separate yourself from the radiator, so that the heat dissipation of the radiator does not endanger the inverter itself. That's a good practice, too.
The heat dissipation design scheme of the inverter is based on vertical installation, and the heat dissipation will decrease when it is placed horizontally! Refrigeration fans generally have a slightly larger output power inverter, which contains a refrigeration fan. At the same time, it was proposed to install a refrigeration fan in the vents in the control cabinet. The air inlets must be filtered to prevent dirt from entering the control cabinet. Pay attention to the fans on the control cabinet and inverter, and you can't replace whom.
In addition, the heat dissipation problem also needs to pay attention to the following two problems:
(1) In areas above 1000m above sea level, because the density of the air is reduced, the refrigeration exhaust air volume of the wooden cabinet should be added to improve the refrigeration practice. Theoretically, the inverter should also take into account the decapacitation, 1000m every -5%.
However, because of the fact that the load and heat dissipation of the inverter on the design scheme are generally larger than those used in detail, it also needs to be applied in practice. For example, in an area of 1500m, but a regular load, such as an elevator car, will be reduced in capacity.
(2) Switching frequency: The hot point of the inverter comes from the IGBT, and the hot of the IGBT is concentrated in the time when it is on and off.
