General-purpose articulated robots are all light-loaded, less than 20kg, and the application scope is narrow, concentrated in the electronic installation category. The repeatability of more than 10kg can only be at the level of +/- 0.1mm.

There are not many types of general-purpose 6/7-axis articulated robots.

The 7-axis structure of the Yamaha YA series is equivalent to a split in the middle of the boom (fuselage) axis, and a rotating axis is added, giving it a unique elbow action.

S-axis: Rotates the fuselage horizontally

L-axis: Swing the fuselage back and forth

E-axis: Change the movement of the arm

U-axis: Swing your arms up and down

R-axis: Rotate the arm

B-axis: Swing the front of the arm up and down

T-axis: Rotate the front of the arm

The joint structure of most 6-axis robots can be briefly understood as a three-time combination of "rotation + swing" structure

Boom (fuselage): Base rotation + boom swing up and down (height change)

Forearm: The forearm swings up and down (a pitching action occurs for retrieving) + the forearm rotates itself

Front: The end actuator sways up and down (to complete a specific action) + the end actuator rotates itself

Yamaha does more of the SCARA robot series, which is quick to install.

Horizontal joint robot, the first arm is called the X axis, the second arm is called the Y axis, the rotation of the end actuator is called the R axis, the up and down of the end actuator is called the Z axis, and the Z axis is generally a ball screw.
