Use of the ifm OGD580 laser distance sensor

The OGD580 is a spaced sensor (PNP type) with two digital output channels, each of which can be set to normally open, normally closed, or closed, depending on the requirements.

                               Use of the ifm OGD580 laser distance sensor

The OGD580 consists of three parts: the laser transmitter, the terminal terminal, and the operation and display terminal.

The laser transmitter is used to emit laser measurement intervals, and the terminal is connected to the power supply and signal output, with a total of 5 pins, during which the following are:

No. 1 - 24V power supply cathodium;

No. 2 - the output of channel 2;

No. 3 - 24V negative power supply;

No. 4 – the output of channel 1;

No. 5 – enclosed laser;

The operation and display includes a 3-digit display, 6 LEDs and 3 buttons.

Thereinto:

3 LEDs to display the unit (cm/mm/inch);

Power LED indicator;

Channel 1 output LED indicator;

Channel 2 output LED indicator;

[Acknowledge] button;

Up button;

Down button;

Digital display screen (3 digits).
