On June 10, 2021, the 16th World Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility in China, hosted by Tribune on Sustainable Development and GoldenBee Think Tank, was held in Beijing, where representatives from all walks of life at home and abroad gathered to communicate the development and trend of corporate social responsibility, and discuss the ways and methods for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities under the dual carbon goals.
At this forum, the "2021 Golden Bee Corporate Social Responsibility • China List" was also released. With its continuous efforts in the practice of responsibility competitiveness, Panasonic has been able to stand out from many participating companies and won the title of "2021 Golden Bee Enterprise Social Responsibility • China's Top Golden Bee Enterprise".
Together, Panasonic's case of "pre-cooling at the origin to open up the cold chain of agricultural products for the first kilometer" was selected into the "Golden Bee 2021 Responsibility Competitiveness Case Collection". The case study introduces an example of Panasonic's ability to contribute to solving the social problem of a high rate of loss in the circulation of agricultural products in Japan by leveraging its pre-cooling skills that have been deposited for decades, and demonstrates Matsushita's management philosophy of "contributing to the improvement of people's lives and the development of society through work."
