In order to motivate young people to dare to put forward their own ideas and put them into action, and bring about changes in our society, Panasonic has set up the "Kuajiao Life Care Award" for all participating project teams of the "Good for the Future" Kuajiao Conference, advocating that students pay attention to social issues such as public physical and mental health, an aging society, and future living space. Panasonic's "Kwa Jiao Life Care Award" received a total of 43 outstanding projects to apply for the competition, and the top six projects were selected after strict evaluation. On August 3, the top six project teams moved forward again and participated in the offline exhibition selection. Each team presented their findings on the social issues and innovative solutions to them, and the top three project teams were selected. The project aims to provide workers in high-dust environments with a washable honeycomb ceramic as a dust mask with a filter element, fundamentally addressing the high prevalence of pneumoconiosis and the high cost and resource waste caused by the frequent replacement of existing dust mask filters.
Runner-up: "Intelligent Cultivation of Heavenly Calculation" project team
The project team is committed to reducing the negative impact of Alzheimer's disease on patients, caregivers and the whole society, and strives to create an "Alzheimer's disease-friendly" society through the establishment of a "combination of distraction and blocking" business model. The R&D, testing and commercialization of two care products, the anti-choking water feeder and the night action reminder, have been completed to provide safety protection for patients.
3rd Place: "Wet Care" project team
The project team used infrared, DHT11 digital temperature and humidity sensors and other components, used AI technology, and connected mobile phone applets, and successfully manufactured an alarm device, which can respond to the caregiver as soon as possible for the long-term bedridden incontinence, increase the comfort of the bedridden and prevent the occurrence of skin diseases.
Together, the main event of this year's "Good for the Future" Kuajiao Conference, students from nearly 300 universities participated. After a fierce regional selection competition, 26 teams participated in the national finals. On August 3rd, outstanding college student project teams from all over the country gathered in Shanghai to present their projects on the spot. The project touched on many aspects such as village rejuvenation, culture, elderly care, health, and environmental protection. After all, the "Intelligent Cultivation and Heavenly Calculation" project team won the championship of the social innovation track.
