On July 30, Dalian Lawson Convenience Store Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dalian Lawson") and Panasonic Electric (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Panasonic") cooperated with Dalian Lawson Qingniwaqiao Flagship Store, officially opened in Zhongshan District, Dalian. The store is the first environmental protection and energy-saving demonstration store in Dalian and the second energy-saving store in the country after Shanghai. The store not only continues the previous concept of energy saving, emission reduction and clean air environment, but also actively introduces new equipment and new retail solutions to improve the shopping experience of customers. In addition, the store also set up a book donation corner jointly with Project Hope to complete the corporate philosophy of "We make the city we live in more beautiful".
In the face of market demand in the post-epidemic era, Dalian Lawson Qingni No. 8 Store has introduced a new retail solution of digital signage system and smart food pick-up cabinet for the first time in the country. The digital signage system uses 13 monitors and a projector to publish and manage content through the cloud platform, and to carry out verification tests in the form of advertising release. In addition to being able to clearly display product information on different terminals, it can update the release content in a timely manner, formulate broadcast menus, and provide customers with a new shopping experience. The smart food pick-up cabinet provides the service of remote ordering and pick-up at the store by APP. The pick-up cabinet is placed outside the store, which not only completes the touchless pick-up, but also saves the time of waiting in line.
In order to create a cleaner and healthier store environment, the store is also equipped with a commercial air harmonic and a space sterilization and deodorizer equipped with Panasonic's unique cleaning technology, Nanoyi ™, which can eliminate the smell of food in the store, remove bacteria, and provide customers with a fresh and clean air environment.
In terms of energy conservation and emission reduction, the store has also made the following measures. The outdoor unit of the refrigerator adopts a low GWP (global warming coefficient) refrigerant R448A, which is 1/3 of the traditional refrigerant, slowing down global warming and saving energy. The refrigerated cabinet has a double air curtain to prevent cool air leakage and enhance thermal insulation, which then improves the refrigeration power and saves electricity. The use of automatic doors and air curtains can block the air outside the store, effectively save electricity for air conditioning, and prevent mosquitoes from entering; The new self-service microwave oven can read the barcode on the food packaging, select the heating program by itself, and save electricity. High-efficiency LED lighting makes the store both bright and power-efficient.
In addition, we have adopted an energy-saving fulfillment support system based on Panasonic's IOT skills, which enables unified management of equipment in the store. In addition to monitoring the status of in-store equipment and the use of electricity, the energy-saving fulfillment support system can automatically control the in-store equipment (refrigeration equipment, air conditioner, etc.) from the outside, and then adjust the in-store equipment to save electricity. It is estimated that the store's traditional electrical equipment is expected to reduce electricity consumption by about 20% compared with the standard store in 2015.
Panasonic's safer and more willing hydroponic vegetables produced at its plant factories in Japan are also sold at the store. Panasonic's hydroponic vegetables adhere to 6 production guidelines: pesticide-free, indoor cultivation, directly drinkable pure water irrigation, low-bacterial environment support, source traceability, and Japan production quality standards.
The store also set up a book donation corner in conjunction with Project Hope, and customers who donated books will receive a stamp for each book donated. When you collect 25 stamps, you will be given Rosen's own milk, and the event will be opened together.
Lawson will clean up and disinfect the donated books, donate them to the Hope Campus, and promote them to the campus library. Through the establishment of the "Lawson Love Library", the reading environment for students (children) was improved.
It is reported that Panasonic and Lawson will continue to strengthen cooperation in the future and work together to promote the opening of similar energy-saving stores.
