As a well-known enterprise in the domestic pharmaceutical packaging industry, Hubei Huaqiang has taken the lead in planning the layout of the butyl rubber plug smart factory under the company's own needs and the trend of large-scale technological change in the pharmaceutical packaging industry. Don't look at the rubber stopper is inconspicuous, but even before the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, the amount was huge, and the demand during the epidemic was a "blowout". 02Technical research

"When we visited the customer's site, we found that the traditional rubber stopper manufacturing industry mainly uses high-temperature molding and labor-intensive production methods, and the labor efficiency is low. But in the course of the project, more 'special' challenges for the industry have emerged. The person in charge of the SIASUN project introduced. So, what exactly are the more "special" challenges?

It turned out that SIASUN began to test and verify the butyl rubber stopper intelligent production line as early as 2013, in order to provide customers with the most mature and reliable automation equipment. However, in the test process, the small rubber stopper presented the project team with one problem after another: first of all, after the raw rubber was treated at high temperature in the vulcanization production line, the film was adhered to the mold, and the film was relatively "soft" and could not be pulled by brute force, which made it extremely difficult for the robot to grasp. To this end, SIASUN team put forward the scheme of "overcoming softness with softness", innovated the design of suction cups, and finally realized the uniform adsorption and stable grasping of raw rubber and vulcanized finished products through multiple improvements and upgrades of end fixtures.

In addition, in the automatic edge removal process, it is difficult to place the soft film in the cutting mold, and the robot uses the vision system to accurately identify the position of the film, and at the same time, it also needs to use force sensing technology to let the film "obediently" enter the mold like kneading; In order to save floor space and improve production efficiency, SIASUN has added an external axis of the robot, and a single robot can complete the loading and unloading tasks of three vulcanizers......

03Fully upgraded

In one innovation breakthrough after another, SIASUN and Hubei Huaqiang have joined hands to complete the overall layout of the butyl rubber plug smart factory, realize the intelligent control of the whole process links such as production, logistics and warehousing, and achieve the goals of logistics intelligence, production automation and capacity maximization. In order to improve quality, reduce costs and recycle, SIASUN has greatly reduced dust emissions by equipping dust collection and reuse devices, reduced product pollution and consumption of raw and auxiliary materials through reasonable design of temperature control system and transmission device structure, and reduced rubber waste through on-line film size detection technology...... It is reported that the implementation of the smart factory has significantly improved the overall production efficiency, operating costs, product development cycle, and energy utilization.

In Hubei Huaqiang Butyl Stopper Smart Factory, the work that had to be completed by many workers in a high-temperature environment in the past is now completed by robots and intelligent equipment, which greatly fills the demand gap for butyl stoppers during the normalization of new crown pneumonia epidemic prevention and control. On several intelligent production lines, feeding, unloading, production, testing, ...... Until the product is out of the warehouse, the idea of domestic butyl rubber stopper to meet domestic demand and go to the world has gradually become a reality.
