(1) Check the heat dissipation of the Epson robot controller

                                 Epson robot maintenance in three steps

1) Make sure that none of the following factors affect heat dissipation:

2) The controller is covered with plastic or other materials;

3) There is not enough space between the back and side of the controller (> 120mm);

4) The position of the controller is close to the heat source;

5) There are sundries on the top of the controller;

6) The controller is too dirty;

7) One or more cooling fans are not working;

8) Blocked fan inlet or outlet;

9) The air filter cloth is too dirty.

Note: When a job is not being performed within the controller, it must be left off in front of it

(2) Epson robot teach pendant cleaning

1) The teaching pendant should be cleaned at an appropriate frequency based on actual needs;

2) Although the panel paint film can withstand the corrosion of most solvents, it should still avoid contact with strong solvents such as acetone;

3) If possible, the teaching pendant should be removed and placed in a clean place when it is not applicable.

(3) Clean the inside of the Epson robot controller

1) The inside of the controller should be cleaned at appropriate intervals according to environmental conditions, such as once a year;

2) Special attention should be paid to the cleaning of the cooling fan and air inlet/outlet. Use a dust brush when cleaning and use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust. Do not vacuum the parts directly, as this will cause electrostatic discharge, which may damage the parts.

Note: Be sure to cut off before cleaning the inside of the controller!
