Epson robot operation mode

The Epson robot system has three forms of operation.

TEACH FORM: In this form, the teaching pendant is used to teach the point data and view it in the direction of the robot.

In this form, the robot operates at low power.

AUTO form In this form, the robot system that performs the production operation can actively perform actions (program execution), as well as the programming, debugging, adjustment, and protection of the robot system.

When the safety door is opened, it is not possible to operate the robot or run the program.

TEST Format In this form, the program can be verified when the enable switch is held down and the safety shield is turned over.

This is a low-speed program verification function specified in the safety regulations (T1: manual deceleration form).

In this form, the specified function can be performed at a low speed by multi-tasking/single-tasking, multi-robot/single-robot.

The Epson robot switches the mode of operation

Use the form selector key switch on the Epson robot teach pendant to change the operation form.

TEACH FORM Turn the form selector switch to "Teach" to enter the TEACH format.

Switching to the TEACH format allows you to pause a running program.

You can stop the operation of the robot with Quick Pause.

AUTO Form: Turn the form selector key switch to "Active" and flip the latch to release the input signal to enter the AUTO form.

TEST FORM Turn the form selector switch to "Teach" to enter the "TEACH" form. In the [Jog & Teach] dialog box in the TEACH format, press the [Test Mode] button. The format will switch to TESTs
