1. Photoelectric switch sensor
The occlusion between the transmitter and receiver is used to detect states such as motion, object presence, or object position. When the measured object passes through the occlusion beam, the intensity of the light signal received by the receiving head changes, which in turn triggers the switching signal. Photoelectric switch sensors are available in different mounting forms, response speeds, and detection ranges.
2. Photoelectric beam sensor
By using one transmitter and multiple receivers at the same time, light is emitted in opposite directions along both sides of the object to be measured, and the presence of the object is detected by detecting the loss of luminous flux. This type of sensor is typically used to quickly detect the position, length, or width of an item.
3. Photoelectric capacitive sensor
By converting mechanical motion into an electrical signal output, it is possible to accurately detect the position and size of motion or objects by detecting the weak change signal of the tiny capacitor at the bottom. The sensor has the characteristics of non-contact, high sensitivity and high resolution, and is widely used in the field of high-precision displacement and acceleration measurement.

What are the features of Sick Sensors – Proximity Sensors?
(1) Since the inspection can be carried out in a non-contact manner, it does not wear or damage the object to be inspected.
(2) Since the contactless output method is adopted, the life extension (except for the magnetic type) is made of semiconductors, and the life of the docking point is not affected.
(3) It is not the same as the light detection method.
