Precautions for using pressure sensors

The pressure sensor is an instrument that can accept pressure signals, and it is widely used in railway transportation, intelligent buildings and other occupations.

                               Precautions for using pressure sensors

First, prevent the accumulation of solder dross in the pipeline and make the transmitter come into contact with corrosive or overheated media.

Second, when measuring air pressure, the pressure take-off should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the transmitter should also be installed in the upper part of the treatment pipe, so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the treatment pipeline.

Third, when measuring the liquid pressure, the pressure intake should be turned over on the side of the process pipeline to prevent the accumulation of slag.

Fourth, the pressure catheter should be installed in a place with small temperature fluctuations.

Fifth, when measuring the liquid pressure, the installation orientation of the transmitter should prevent the collision of the liquid (water hammer phenomenon) and avoid the overpressure damage of the sensor.

Sixth, when the ice freezes in winter, the transmitter installed outdoors must adopt anti-freezing methods to prevent sensor loss.

Seventh, when wiring, pass the cable through the waterproof joint or winding pipe and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rainwater from leaking into the transmitter shell through the cable.

Eighth, when measuring steam or other high-temperature media, a condenser, such as a buffer tube (coil), must be added, and the operating temperature of the transmitter should not exceed the limit.
