The inverter is the control equipment for the operation of the motor, and it has a certain maintenance function for the motor. Most of the inverter appliances have functions such as overvoltage, overcurrent, undervoltage and overload maintenance.
Overcurrent maintenance function. In any link of motor acceleration, deceleration and constant speed operation, through the limitation of the maximum current value, the overcurrent maintenance function can be started, that is, when the motor is overcurrent, or the output terminal produces a short circuit, etc., the instantaneous value of the output current of the inverter is greater than the current detection value, the overcurrent maintenance function acts, forces the motor to stop, and performs a maintenance role on the motor.
Abnormal voltage maintenance function. The first situation is overvoltage maintenance: due to the addition of the regenerative voltage of the motor, that is, the overvoltage state, the maintenance function action when the DC voltage of the main circuit reaches the overvoltage detection value. However, if too high a voltage is applied incorrectly to the input side of the inverter, useful maintenance cannot be performed. The second situation is undervoltage maintenance: that is, when the power supply voltage decreases, etc., so that the DC voltage of the main circuit is low to the undervoltage detection value, the maintenance function is acted. If the instantaneous power failure and restart function is selected, the power supply will be interrupted, and the power supply will be restored to actively reset and restart, and the alarm signal will not be output at this time. If the voltage value drops to the voltage of the inverter control circuit and cannot be maintained, the full maintenance function will be automatically reset.
Motor overload maintenance function. When the motor current exceeds the set value of the electronic thermal overload relay, the maintenance function is activated. This function is not available in all inverters, and some inverters can only maintain some specific motor types, and other motors may not be well maintained. Therefore, when the inverter is modeled, the problem should be comprehensively checked; In addition, when multiple electric motors are driven by a single inverter, each motor must be equipped with its own thermal overload relay.
In practical application, it is found that the functions of different brands of inverters are not the same, and the control and maintenance functions of the motor are also quite different, so it is necessary to select and match a better inverter for the safety of motor operation and the overall operation effect.

Explanation of Mitsubishi pIc source type and drain type
The source type is the power supply of the device, which has an input drive source and an output point with a power supply; Drain type means that the device does not have its own power supply, and the drive of the input point requires an external power supply, and the output is only a passive contact signal.
The general input points are ...

The cause of the failure caused by OC - Mitsubishi inverter
1. Aging of drive circuit
Due to the long-term use, it will inevitably lead to the aging of components, and then cause the drive waveform to be distorted, and the output voltage will be unstable, so OC alarm often appears as soon as it is running.
